Harris County HOSA Members Win Page One Awards

Two Harris County HOSA members won first-place Tuesday night, May 6, 2014, during the 39th annual Page One Awards in the Bill Heard Theater at the River Center for the Performing Arts.

The awards program conducted by the Ledger-Enquirer, honors outstanding high school seniors and teachers in the Chattahoochee Valley. The judges are community leaders who assessed the candidates on their scholarship, leadership, service and character.

Julia Clark, HCHS HOSA Historian, won first place in Science.

Christopher Keough, HCHS HOSA events chair, won one first place in Citizenship.

This year, 198 students from 19 high schools were celebrated at the ceremony for being nominated by their schools to compete for the winner and runner-up awards in 13 categories.

Chris and Julia received trophies and $1,000.

Congratulations to these Outstanding HOSA members who work diligently to go above and beyond in all they do!
