HOSA Go! Gotta Catch Em All

The Pokemon Go phenomenon has taken over and is allowing players to capture Pokemon in the real world. It allows you to *Get Up, Get Out, and Explore. Pokemon Go allows its players to “explore cities and towns where [they] live- and even around the globe- to capture as many Pokemon as [they] can.” Like Pokemon Go, HOSA allows its members to explore different careers in healthcare and different events all over Georgia, and even the nation, for the International Leadership Conference, taking place in 2017 at Disney’s Coronado Spring Resort in Orlando, FL.

Just like Pokemon Go, Georgia HOSA is creating a challenge for you to “capture” as many HOSA members as you can. Fall Leadership Rally, taking place October 14, 2016 at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry, is the perfect place to bring your “captured” friends! Fall Leadership Rally allows both members and non-members to enjoy a day filled with an incredible keynote speaker, Rhett Laubach, competitive events (for affiliated members only), and of course, the fair!

In Pokemon Go, you have the option to work as a team. Well, of course HOSA Go is no different! You and your HOSA chapter can work as a team to capture those friends, bringing them not just to have a fun day out of school, but to show them how awesome HOSA is and why they should become affiliated members.

The question is, you get medals by capturing Pokemon, but what would you get out of “capturing” HOSA members? We are glad you asked!

The middle school chapter and secondary/post-secondary chapter with the highest in attendance at Fall Leadership Rally will receive stage recognition, a certificate, and reserved seating at Fall Leadership Conference!

The middle chapter and secondary/post-secondary chapter with the second highest in attendance at Fall Leadership Rally will receive stage recognition, a certificate, and one (1) free registration to the Fall Leadership Conference!

Now let’s get catching!
