Lambert HOSA Banquet

“Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.” - Henry Ford

Lambert HOSA is a chapter that never fails to radiate passion and success. The members of this chapter consist of driven individuals who always want to take part in helping at HOSA events and demonstrate their leadership skills at competitions or activities. Even with an outstanding amount of 354 members, Lambert HOSA’s chapter is constantly growing and will grow throughout the years the organization is thriving at Lambert.

This past year has been Lambert HOSA’s pinnacle of success. Lambert HOSA has had many events this year that have been huge successes. Such as the CHOA football game, our senior home visits, the American Cancer Society fundraiser with the “purple out” basketball game, our blood drives that we’ve helped out with, freshman festival, and our Warriors With Will 5K. Not only has Lambert HOSA excelled in its events that the chapter has offered to its members this year; but Lambert HOSA has also excelled in competitions. Lambert HOSA has had a plethora amount of students participate in SLC and had a large portion of members that were eligible for NLC. Lambert HOSA brought home a medal count of 30 and had 60 members that placed in the top ten at SLC (State Leadership Conference).

Preeminently, Lambert HOSA had 77 members that were eligible to go to NLC (National Leadership Conference).
Lambert HOSA had their 3rd annual HOSA banquet where many of our important business partners shared our mutual endeavors for growing our community healthcare. Our own Georgia HOSA executive director, Allen Seigler, was a key note speaker. The Lambert HOSA banquet consisted of sending their seniors off, awarding seniors with NTHS Honor chords and HOSA Honor’s chords, and an induction ceremony for the new 2014-2015 Lambert HOSA officers.

This August, the 2014-2015 Lambert HOSA officers will be hosting an officer retreat and a P.O.W event at Lambert High School. Lambert HOSA us looking forward to the 2014-2015 year.
