It’s the first full week in November, and that means it is time to break out the navy and maroon, done those scrubs, and find your favorite HOSA t-shirt; that means that it is time for HOSA Week! HOSA Week is always the first full week in November, and it is the time when members and advisors across the nation show their HOSA spirit, and support their community. This week of excitement and fun aims to fulfill three goals:
1) provide school or community service
2) promote opportunities in health care
3) show appreciation to the health care community
The best way to have a great HOSA week is to talk to other chapters to see what they have done in the past, and share ideas. Maybe you could even work together on a project! No matter what you choose to do, you can submit all your HOSA Week activities as a recognition competition at the State Leadership Conference! Check out the competition guidelines to find out how!
