HOSA Success Day

HOSA Success Day is a workshop with a mission to train advisors to better prepare their students for what to expect with Competitive Events (CE). The workshop will start with an introduction of CE with discussion items such as best practices, general rules and regulations, etc. We will then discuss better ways to prepare your students for the CE program and ways to use CE in the classroom with integration into lesson plans. If you plan to be a part of the CE staff in any way, we will be providing specific training for each position on the CE staff and management team.

This training will be extremely beneficial to every advisor no matter the level of experience that you may have. I urge every advisor to attend this workshop.

The purpose of this survey is to determine when to plan the HOSA Success Day (competitive event updates and training for ALL advisors) to make it easier for you. Originally the HOSA Success Day was scheduled for February but with region competitions taking place January 12-16 online, we wanted to make sure we prepare you to better prepare your students before this began.

HOSA Success Day would take place in Athens at the Classic Center Theater (site of the 09 State Leadership Conference) and ALL HSTE instructors are encouraged to attend. We will also host our initial training for the HOSA CE Management Team in a separate workshop.
