Chapter spotlight: CITA HOSA starts the year off with a bang!
CITA HOSA is coming back bigger and better! This year with our new president, Joe Muturi, we are continuing to make history as we expand our chapter! The kickoff meeting exceeded the bounds with 80-90 students in attendance! Officers were introduced, deadlines were made clear, and community service events were announced all while still having time for fun games and snacks. On the 20th of August some of our officers travelled to Covington, Georgia for Officer Jumpstart where they spent the day learning about how to have a successful year and improve our chapter through social media, leadership skills, staying safe during conferences, and effective planning. As we finished off the month, we reached out to Zaxbys to initiate our first fundraisers of the year for our amazing members. Many friends and family showed up to support the chapter. All together I would say that we had a productive month and as we continue throughout the year CITA HOSA will strive to embody the mission of HOSA and be Powered by the people whether that be our members, officers, advisors, or others! We are ready to take this year by storm.
