Chapter Spotlight: Fayette County High School- Helping the community one dog at a time
Since October, our chapter has been going to a local animal refuge at least twice a month. We go and help with making treats, organizing the storage room, walking dogs, and cleaning. Our director of Community outreach, Arwen Caballero and our President, Neil Greene are both very proud of this bimonthly event. Not only are the leaders pleased, but our member love this opportunity as well. The Royal Animal Refuge in Tyrone, Georgia has been nothing but nice to host us and let us take care of some stuff for them. This event allows for our chapter to get out in the community and help more than before. For those that want to pursue veterinary science in the future this gives them a good time to connect with animals and interact with those that take care of them.
