Chapter Spotlight: HOSA Hounds Save Lives
The Jones County High School HOSA Chapter has partnered with the American Red Cross this year to host blood drives. JCHS HOSA students have volunteered hundreds of combined recruitng donors, managing the donors the day of, and donating themselves. We have collected 210 units of blood this school year! this is enough blood to help save up to 600 lives. The students have used the experience to gain a better perspective on the importance of blood donation and how the process works. The goal for next year is the continue to grow the blood drive and encourage more people to donate.
