Chapter Spotlight: Jones County High School- Hounds' Blood Drives were a Huge Success

In an impactful collaboration, this year JCHS HOSA joined forces with the American Red Cross to organize and host four successful blood drives. With the dedicated efforts of HOSA students, over 250 of their peers were encouraged to take part in the drives either as volunteers or donors. The collective result was an impressive collection of 189 units of blood. Recognizing the life-saving potential of their contributions, students were enlightened on the significance of blood donation and the critical criteria that govern it. Furthermore, through this partnership, participants were able to witness firsthand how their donations were utilized to make a difference and save lives. Additionally, an inspiring alum of JCHS partnered with the Red Cross to independently coordinate community blood drives, further extending the impact of this noble cause. The entire school community takes pride in the outstanding dedication and commitment shown by the HOSA students involved in these initiatives.
