Chapter Spotlight: Appling County High School
HOSA students at Appling County High school provided healthcare heroes around the community with doughnuts from a local doughnut shop to show their appreciation and thanks for all they do. The HOSA students conducted clinical rotations at various healthcare facilities in the community. As a thanks to their healthcare heroes, especially those who open their doors to the school to allow students to learn, they provided doughnuts to each facility. Students also wrote a hand-written letter to their clinical supervisor stating how grateful they were for the opportunity to work with and learn from the healthcare provider. From their local Advisor, Alexandria Brooks, “I am so proud of my HOSA students and their passion for healthcare and thankful for a community that helps them learn!”
