Chapter Spotlight: Harris County High School
HOSA Sharing the Joy
The Harris County High School HOSA members finished off the semester with a Wrapping Party! All of the students shared in a fun time of enjoying much needed time together, eating cake and pizza, listening to Christmas music, and preparing their gifts. This year the students were generous and thoughtful as they collected items for 25 Shoebox Gifts for the children that are serviced by Open Door Community House, Columbus Georgia.
Open Door is a non-profit organization that serves, the homeless population in our community. Their mission is to eliminate poverty in our community by offering opportunities for spiritual growth, establishing relationships with individuals and families in need, and working cooperatively with other area service agencies to bring about reconciliation in the lives of people in our area.
As we close out this difficult year, HCHS HOSA was thrilled with the opportunity to share the joy of the season with the children of Open Door and support the worthwhile vision of this organization.
