Chapter Spotlight: HOSA Students Make an Impact Through Service at MedShare
Cedar Grove HOSA recently demonstrated their commitment to community service by volunteering at MedShare, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving global health. MedShare’s mission is to collect surplus medical supplies and equipment and redistribute them to communities in need, providing critical medical aid and reducing environmental waste. During their service project, the students worked diligently to pack 4,124 pounds of medical supplies, which equates to supporting 3,546 patients in need. This experience not only allowed the students to contribute to a meaningful cause but also reinforced their dedication to healthcare and global outreach. Through their volunteer work, these future health professionals played a vital role in MedShare’s efforts to bridge the gap between surplus and need, showcasing their passion for service and commitment to making a tangible difference.
