Chapter Spotlight: Stop the Bleed (Oglethorpe County High School)

Oglethorpe County High School HOSA started this year with a Stop the Bleed training at our August meeting. According to the Stop the Bleed website, someone who is severely bleeding can bleed to death in as little as 5 minutes. Our guest speaker, Mr. Ryan Hollingsworth, taught students how to assess bleeding, apply tourniquets, and pack wounds.
