Kevyn Jones- Region 1 Representative

Kevyn Jones is a senior at Calhoun High School and is beyond thankful she took a leap of faith and joined HOSA as a freshman. While in HOSA, she has enjoyed serving as her chapter’s president and volunteering at numerous events! In the future, Kevyn plans to study medicine and pursue a career in orthopedic surgery. Outside of HOSA, Kevyn enjoys interning at her local chiropractic office, playing volleyball, watching her favorite shows, and hanging out with her friends and family! Kevyn is beyond excited to serve as your Region 1 Representative this year and can not wait to connect and make memories with the members!
Akosua Opoku- Region 2 Representative

Akosua Opoku is a senior at Apalachee High School and is honored to be serving you as your Georgia HOSA 2023–2024 Region 2 Representative. Joining HOSA has been an accelerating journey for her, as soon as she participated in her home chapter, she got inspired by the previous president, Sriya Sirigireddy, to become an officer that same year! Outside of HOSA, Akosua enjoys playing football (soccer), playing the keyboard (piano), and spending time with family (and friends). If you don't see her in any of these activities above, you could probably find her volunteering at her local library!

Timi Akinyele- Region 4 Representative

Timi Akinyele is ecstatic to be serving as your 2023-2024 Region 4 Representative. He is a rising junior at Innovation Academy and is a participant in the environmental club, science olympiad, and science fair within his school. He loves watching the latest Marvel movies and trying out new recipes. He also enjoys visiting new cities with his family.
Makiya Hardnett- Region 5 Representative

Ma(Kiya) Hardnett is a senior at THINC College and Career Academy and Lagrange High School. She was originally “forced” to join and instantly grew to be madly in love with this organization her sophomore year. Outside of HOSA, she enjoys learning languages (currently learning Mandarin and Korean), singing, traveling, playing volleyball, and studying different cultures! Ma(Kiya)’s favorite thing to do is to create connections and opportunities with divergent people and their personalities. In the future, she plans to become an International Travel Nurse and hopes to see the world through her eyes! Kiya’s original location was region 3 and now she will thrive as Georgia HOSA’s Region 5 Representative!

Pranita Akella- Region 8 Representative

Pranita Akella is a rising senior at Lakeside High School (Evans). She pushed herself to achieve her goal of graduating a year early from high school. Pranita joined HOSA in 9th grade and immediately found a strong connection with the organization. She is an avid member of her school’s HOSA, FBLA, Beta Club, Science Olympiad, and other National Honor Society’s. Pranita loves to try new things and always looks out for new experiences. Whether it’s playing sports or competing at a speech contest, she puts her best foot forward. Pranita is passionate about dance as she has been doing Indian Classical Dance for the past 10 years. She also loves singing, playing card games, cooking, and spending time with family. She believes that her family and friends play an important role in her life and serve as her strong support system. She plans to pursue a career in the medical field. Pranita is excited to serve as your region representative for 2023-2024.
