Chapter Spotlight: Lee County HOSA Volunteer at APD's Pink Out the Parking Lot for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Lee County High School HOSA members kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Month by volunteering at APD's Pink Out the Parking Lot. At this event, students were not only able to help vendors with their needs, but they were also able to hear the significance of being knowledgeable about the effects of breast cancer. A majority of this knowledge came from first-person experiences of breast cancer survivors. Not only was this a volunteering opportunity but it was also extremely educational to the students involved. Lee County HOSA can not wait to take on more opportunities just like this in the future!
